Beyoncé jokes about buffering issues live in new Netflix promo
In the promotional clip, which Beyoncé released via her social media accounts on Tuesday, the crowd cheers off-screen as the “Cowboy Carter” singer slowly comes into view.
The camera slowly pans up to capture the singer in a long floral shawl, high heels, a large black cowboy hat and shadows. She plays the banjo as she appears to perform her #1 Billboard hit, “Texas Hold’ Em.”
The lens lands on the perfect look and Beyoncé captures the shadows. As the camera zooms in on her face, the screen suddenly freezes and the infamous red buffer circle appears.
Before the video resumes, the singer smiles lightly, leading to her winking and smiling at the camera.
An image appears on the screen that reads, “The show is at halftime, it’s Christmas, Houston, Texas.”

Beyoncé Debuts ‘Cowboy Carter’ At Christmas Concert
Originally released in March, Cowboy Carter is Beyoncé’s eighth studio album and her first country album. He has yet to be developed beyond three singles.
That will change at Christmas when the singer’s show goes on hiatus, first teased by the streaming giant last month. This will be her third time partnering with the NFL, first appearing in the 2013 Super Bowl.
In 2016, she accompanied Bruno Mars and Coldplay on their joint halftime set, causing controversy over her performance of “Formation.”
Husband Jay-Z has since renewed his partnership with the sports organization for future halftime performances, including Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl LIX set in February 2025.

Beyoncé’s NFL appearance could be a preview of her upcoming tour

According to Daily Mailthe singer’s halftime performance may tease what fans might see during her anticipated world tour in 2025.
An insider claims that the “Single Ladies” superstar plans to present what is being called a “spectacular” set of shows for “Cowboy Carter” and the as-yet-unknown sequel.
While nothing has been confirmed, some of Beyoncé’s most ardent fans have speculated that a rock-themed era could follow her current country phase and her penchant for disco and dance through “Renaissance,” the singer’s 2022 album.
The insider also noted that the upcoming project will be her most “unique” to date, with “extravagant” concerts to accompany the work.
Beyoncé and her camp have kept a lid on any possible future projects.

Similar to “Renaissance,” Beyoncé has yet to release visuals for “Cowboy Carter”
Which became the new norm for the singer until the official video for the single “Cowboy Carter” was released.
The absence followed a similar void for Renaissance, where she notably told fans during one of her concerts that she thought they were better “visuals” than she could have included.
Talking to GQ in September, Beyonce expanded on her reasons for not focusing on music videos for the first time in her career.
“I thought it was important that at a time when we only see the visual, the world could focus on the voice,” she said. “The music is very rich in history and instruments. It took months to digest, research and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own.”
A statement from Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s production company, also noted that the singer hopes to make the music strong enough to exist without visual effects.
“(It gives) fans the opportunity to be limitless in their extensive listening,” it said, adding, “It’s a chance to be listeners again, not viewers, looking at every gem of pristine production.”
