One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the high price, with the 42mm model starting at $399. Luckily, a number of carriers and retailers are offering the chance to get one on your wrist for less right now.
The new wearable of 2024 offers some nice improvements over its predecessors. In her Apple Watch Series 10 full reviewCNET’s Lexy Savvides describes it as “more stylish and more practical than ever.” The biggest news about Apple’s latest smartwatch is the bigger screen – the display is 30% bigger, although the body is thinner and lighter than before. Plus, the new charging technology on the back of the Apple Watch 10 helps it reach a full battery faster, and the new smartwatch has features like water sensors and detection of sleep apnea. The display is also 40% brighter when viewed at an angle.

When does the Apple Watch Series 10 launch?
The Apple Watch Series 10 launches on Friday, September 20, 2024. That’s when the first shipments started arriving for those who had previously pre-ordered, and when the Apple Watch Series 10 went on sale in stores.

How much does the Apple Watch Series 10 cost?
Series 10 watches start at $399 for the 42mm model, and you can upgrade to the larger 46mm model from $429. It’s an extra $100 if you want to add cellular connectivity.

If you order an Apple Watch Series 10 from the Apple Store right now and have an older Apple Watch to trade in, you can save between $50 and $375 with a trade-in credit. Those who pay with Apple Card will also get 3% cashback.
Amazon has quite a few Series 10 configurations you can pick up for $50 off, bringing the base 42mm model down to $349.
If you want the bigger one 46mm modelyou’ll find several colors on sale for $379, $50 off.
Apple Watch Series 10 prices at Walmart include savings of up to $50 on almost all models right now. That makes the 42mm models just $349 and the 46mm just $379. Savings are not shown for the larger configurations, but they are usually $429.
Like other retailers, Best Buy is offering $50 off almost every configuration of the Apple Watch Series 10 right now. The tech retailer also has its own trade-in program where you can save up to $150, bringing the starting price down to just $199. My Best Buy Plus and Total members also save an extra 10% when they shop.
Buy your Apple Watch Series 10 with a new Digits Apple Watch Plus plan from T-Mobile and you’ll get $250 back in account credits for 24 months. That brings the price down to just over $10 per month for the 42mm model.
If you’re adding a new Go5G Next line, you’ll get a $101 discount, meaning you’re getting the cellular model for the same price as the GPS-only model. You can also purchase one and get $300 off per second when you add at least one new line to an eligible service plan.
It’s worth noting that several colors are currently on back order.
AT&T is offering a $100 discount on Apple smartwatches. To qualify, you must purchase the Payback Watch and sign up for an eligible data plan. You will receive the discounts as bill credits for 36 months.
AT&T is also offering an additional discount when you combine this offer with an iPhone 16 or iPhone 16 Pro.
Verizon is currently offering a free Apple Watch 10 with the purchase of an iPhone on an eligible 5G Unlimited plan. And you’ll need to sign up for an eligible data plan for the Series 10 as well. Verizon will provide promotional credits for up to 36 months after you meet those requirements.
Verizon accepts replacement Apple Watch Series 3 or later, as well as select models from other non-Apple brands, such as the Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel.
