Sunny shared a photo of herself on the beach without a bikini on Saturday, December 21. “Chapter closed✨,” she wrote. “Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all of you in my life and those who have supported me through your phone screens 🫶🏻.”
The former reality star said it was “time to look forward”, adding: “See you in 2025 #whatsnext.” Sunny’s cheeky social media upload came shortly after Ben confirmed they had made it up named it comes out after before fueling rumors of a split.
“I have to kindly ask people to respect my space at this time and stop the negative comments and messages,” the boatman wrote via Instagram Story. “It’s been a very difficult couple of weeks and some things remain private between two people. I understand that the relationship was public and watched by many. Thank you for your understanding.”
Below Deck has followed various relationships and flings throughout the franchise, but some stars have found love with each other in the offseason. Ben and Sunny met on the set of season 11 with Below deck. After first forming a casual relationship, their situation became complicated when Ben was promoted. Ben was also still in awe of his former colleague Camille Lambto whom he turned still communicates with Sunny.
“Once again on board St. David, it’s like taking a walk down memory lane. With Camila, it was this instant spark. We were very much like children in love. “I’ve been thinking about her a lot lately,” Ben told the cameras during an April episode of the popular Bravo show. “Maybe part of me believes that something could happen because we had a great time together. See what the girls did to me?”
Camilla eventually shut Ben down and he wasn’t sure will he stay with Sunny.
“It’s a bit of a roller coaster between Sunny and me. Sunny said she doesn’t want a relationship. She was just there to enjoy the experience and what was happening,” he said exclusively Us Weekly in March. “And then, as things turned out, we both got a little bit more involved, and it was quite difficult for me to just tell her that I needed to focus on my work because I was taking on this leadership role.”

He continued: “I think she took a lot of things personally when it should have just been for work and I really want to see her after the show. So that’s where my head is at the moment. We just want to work first and then see what can blossom after that.”
By time Season 11 has come to an endBen confirmed that he and Sunny reconciled off-screen.
“Yes, you guessed it 😜 we are still together! We can finally let go of the mystery that has been kept for the past 15 months,” he captioned an Instagram post in May about him and Sunny. “We want to thank you all for your support throughout season 11 @belowdeckbravo, it’s been a rollercoaster reliving the season and the beginning of a relationship.”
