Battlestar Galactica Raunchy Blooper shows the fan-favorite character in a fun new light

While San Diego Comic-Con gets most of the national and even international attention, southern nerds tend to flock to an entirely different fan convention: Dragon Con, a five-day, non-stop nerd celebration. Sure, it’s filled with the usual shenanigans like panels and trading rooms, but it all has the drunken, giddy sway of an endless party. So much so, in fact Battlestar Galactica reboot icons Edward James Olmos and Aaron Douglas felt inspired to tell a room full of fans how the latter actor accidentally exposed his penis to sound in a particularly lewd butt.

Usually the wire was routed through part of the actor’s clothing and connected to the power supply in a discreet location. None of this would be a problem for the poor sound engineer if Douglas didn’t have a ridiculous penchant for going commando on set.

During the Dragon Con panel, hearing his crucial line retold by Douglas (complete with a funny imitation of an older man’s raspy voice) made Olmos giggle, and he couldn’t resist holding his fingers just inches apart to show that another actor…um…Viper wasn’t that great. Instead of being offended, Douglas immediately joked Seinfeld: “I was in the pool!” From start to finish, this story showcases an amazingly funny chemistry between Battlestar Galactica the cast, though, is one blip, so gross that even the Lords of Kobold will never reveal it to you.
