Aura Aspen Review (2025): Made for vertical
My 2-year-old son He thinks all photo footage is digital. He reaches the fixed footage of my parents’ house to spend the next photo. While it somehow sounds a little dystopian, I also find myself a little impressed. However, the aura frame in my living room completely convinced my son that it was an analog frame of the picture. I I can’t even convince him to bathe.
Aura Digital frames for paintings is the best there. Thehe Aura Carver ($ 149) and Walden ($ 299) are both best choices in our guide For some reason, thanks to their impressive design and matte screens that don’t feel like just an iPad created to flash photos. To date, there is a new child on the block: Aura Aspen.
The aspen sits right between Carver and Walden when it comes to size and price, and he packs the 4: 3 ratio, which is ideal for smartphone photographers. This is a great addition to the composition and if you usually take pictures with your phone – especially if these photos tend to be vertical – this is the frame for you.

The biggest difference from the rest of the Aura composition is size. The Aspen has an 11.8-inch screen-big of 10.1 inches on Carver, but smaller than the 15-inch Walden Gargantuan frame. It packs the same anti -glare display that you will find in Aspen and Walden, along with a 4: 3 and 1600 x 1200 HD display ratio. This ratio coincides with most smartphone cameras, making it a great choice for your daily photos. Otherwise, the software inside is the same one you will find on all Aura displays and use the same application to control it.
The aspen also has a double orientation, which means it can sit in a portrait or landscape mode. This is similar to Mason ($ 192) (Which aura is actually sunny this year), although you will need to reach the back to switch the stand to change the orientation. It only takes a few seconds to do this, although I think most people will choose an orientation and focus on uploading photos to combine it.
I chose vertical mode as I usually take pictures in this orientation. For the few landscape photos I added, the frame included the entire photo with black bars on top and bottom. If you are a more landscape photographer, it is easy to place the frame in landscape mode instead of answering your photos best. It is also a nice size for large rooms, such as open rooms or large living rooms, so you can still see and enjoy the photo from different places around the room. My parents have a 10-inch frame for cuts in their house, and although I like it, it’s much easier to enjoy your photos on the whole room with the larger screen.
