Meet Deor, a class 12 student from Pune who is preparing for JEE, gave an impressive performance that impressed all the judges.
Aiming to become a mechanical engineer, 16-year-old Mitt said he plans to blend innovation with practicality to create affordable electric vehicles.He showcased his groundbreaking venture Demi Bikes, an electric motorcycle with distinctive features, at the show.
The Sharks admired his efforts, and Aman Gupta joked about his own indecisiveness at age 16 compared to Meet’s accomplishments. At the age of 10, Aman said:
Meet revealed that he was only 10 years old when he built the Electric-Go-Kart, to which a stunned Aman said, “Logon ke daant nahi toote the, kya kar raha hai meet, sharam aarahi hai humein apne bachpan par.”
The bike, which is entirely made in India, costs approximately Rs 40,000 to manufacture and is designed to be both economical and high performance.At its pitch, Meet asked for Rs 30 lakh for a 10% stake, valuing its business at Rs 3 crore.
The Sharks were visibly impressed by his story and vision. Notably, Meet made the bike frame himself, relying on welding and fitting the components himself, based on his detailed design. He also got his cousins to join the project, seeing as Namitha Thapar commented .
Meet highlighted the lack of affordable, high-quality, Made-in-India bikes in the market.After a test drive, Aman pointed out a few performance issues with the bike.
In the end, none of the Sharks invested and advised her to temporarily stop the project to prioritize her education instead. All Sharks praised her clarity and ambition, promising to support her in non-financial ways while encouraging her to focus on her studies.
