Apple may not release really “upgraded” Siri by 2027

Apple is struggling to restore Siri for the age of the generative AI, According to Mark Gurman on BloombergAnyone who says that the company may not release “a real -fashioned, conversational version of Siri” until the iOS 20 came out in 2027.

This does not mean that there will be no major Siri updates before. A new Siri version is reported to debut in May – finally it includes all the Apple Intelligence features that the company declared almost a year earlierS

Gorman describes this version of Siri as “two brains”, one for older commands such as setting timers and calling, the other for more sophisticated requests that can use user data. It is reported that a system that unites the two brains, known internally as “LLM Siri”, will be announced at the World Developer Conference in June before the start of 2026.

And only then, says Guerman, Apple will fully fully develop the modern Siri capabilities, which can then unfold next year.
