Design

Even at first glance, the two phones look completely different. The iPhone 16e has a slit at the top of the screen (iPhone 16, on the other hand, has instead of the newer dynamic island), while the Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe simply has a single point for the front camera. Both have an aluminum frame and a display of Gorilla Glass.

Speaking of the display, they are also quite different on this front. The iPhone 16e has a 6.1-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz with a peak brightness of 1200 nits. If it wasn’t for the dynamic island, the iPhone 16e display would look almost identical to the iPhone 16 at nominal value.

However, the Galaxy S24 Fe has a larger 6.7-inch screen with a more impressive refresh rate of 120Hz. The Galaxy S24 FE also has a higher peak bright than 1900 nits. This is a larger display than the Galaxy S24’s 6.1-inch screen and can be a narrow comparison with the larger Galaxy S24 Plus.

Like a more priced brother, the iPhone 16e has a face identifier to unlock the device, looking at it right. However, the Galaxy S24 Fe uses an optical fingerprint sensor to unlock your phone. This sensor is a little slower than what Samsung includes in the more expensive Galaxy S24 but is functionally identical.

Color, the iPhone 16e comes in black and white, while the Galaxy S24 Fe is available in blue, mint, gray and graphite.

Camera

The Galaxy S24 Fe absolutely wins the camera circle, providing significantly more photography options. It has three lenses on the rear camera-50 megapixel lens, an ultra-shaped lens with a 12-megapixel sensor, plus 3X telephoto lens with an 8-megapixel image sensor. On the other hand, the iPhone 16e has only one 48 megapixel camera on the back. To soften the number of the lower camera, the iPhone 16e uses a sensor cut to get a 2x increase for better photos.

Both phones use their processing power to help in a variety of situations, including a low -light shots and portrait shots when you want a bokeh effect.

As for the front cameras, the iPhone 16E has a 12-megapixel sensor-compounding with the iPhone 16-by-Galaxy S24 Fe has a 10-megapixel, which is slightly lowered by the Galaxy S24 12MP camera.

AI features

The iPhone 16e supports Apple Intelligence, a feature that was previously only in the higher-end iPhone like 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 series. The Apple Intelligence features are still being unfolded and so far include a cleaning tool to remove objects from photos, tool writing tools and text summarizing. An enhanced version of Siri has also been set for a future update.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI is a showcase in the Galaxy S24 FE and includes features aimed at art, such as sketching into photos, as well as extending the image frame. The Galaxy AI also includes translation of text messages, audio transcription and its own set of writing tools.
