Starting the Anthropic Coding Tool, Claude CodeIt starts on a rocky start.

According to GITHUB reports, the CLude Code automatic update feature contained buggy commands that made some workstations unstable and brokenS When the Claude code was installed on the “Root” or “Superuser” levels, the programs that give programs the ability to make changes to the operating system level-buggy commies will allow applications to usually change the limited file directories and in the worst scenario “brick systems”.

Problem commands to automatically update the CLUDE code have changed permissions to access certain critical system files. Permissions determine which programs and users can read or change files or start certain applications. One GITHUB user said That they were forced to use a “rescue copy” to repair Claude Codes files permissions, inadvertently break.

Anthropic told TechCrunch that it removed the problematic commands from the Claude Code and Add a link to the program Target users to a TroubleshooterS The connection initially had a typo – but the anthropic says that this is also fixed.
