Anthropic is reported preparing a voice regime for Claude

According to a report, AI Startup Anthropic works on the voice capabilities for its AI chatbot, Claude.

The company’s chief product director, Mike Kriger, told the Financial Times This anthrop plans to launch an experience that allows users to talk to Anthropic AI models.

“We do some job how Claude for Desktop develops (…) If it works with your computer, it can be a more natural user interface (talk to it),” Kriger said. “We will state internally (…) This is a useful modality to have.

The report also notes that anthropic has been talking to Amazon, the main investor and partner of the company and Starting AI focused on voice Possibly drive future Claude voice features. But no deals have been finalized, according to the Financial Times.

Kriger told the publication that the anthropic had been discussing “a bunch of partners” to accelerate the potential start of a voice experience.
