Amirah J on High Polument Talks, playing AVA, irritating the final rocks
Tuesday evening will be absent an extremely consistent single mother after high potential, broadcasting her final next week. But fans of the ABC show featuring Kaitlin Olson can expect a second season of attention -grabbing outfits, quick comments and less insurmountable mysteries.
High potential Following is Morgan, a cleaning lady who becomes a chief consultant on crime in Los Angeles, applying her smart in a pile of unauthorized crimes. From high -profile killings to family whodunits, no case proved to be overwhelming to the mother of three with an intelligence coefficient of 160 with her book partner, Karadek.
The show also spends time with Morgan at home, where a key puzzle is bound by her personal life. Morgan is
Before the finale of season 1, he spoke with Amira J for his character, how he feels about the success of the show and whether the final reveals more about a novel. In the show, Ava is rebellious, obsessed with the phone, who should navigate both her missing father and the differences between her and her mother and brother, who inherited Morgan’s abilities.
Amira annoys that the upcoming contribution will give answers and rocks. As for Ava’s dad, she has not yet learned the whole story. “I really want to know what happened,” she said. “So I’m excited about this story to continue.”
The high potential is based on the French Haut Potentiel Intellectuel series. The Finale of Season 1 Premiere of ABC on February 11 at 9:00 pm/21: 00 PT/20:00 CT and Flows on Hulu February 12th. The next interview is edited for clarity.
Question: How much do you think the differences between Ava and her family reflect?
Amira J.: I think they are very influential for her. I have the feeling that Ava is hard to try to fit into her own family. She somehow feels as if she is not necessarily belonging, because her little brother has the abilities her mother has, and then she is her half -brother and half -sister, and they have their father, and she doesn’t do it. And so she tries to navigate all these different things and find a way to fit into her own family, which is very challenging for her.
Did you teach you something surprising?
Ava taught me a lot. Honestly, she is very different from me the way she has grown her family life. Therefore, trying to understand why it is as it is and why certain things affect it in a certain way is super fun.
The premiere episode of high potential has achieved 20 million viewers in 35 days within platforms. It has been confirmed that he is back for season 2. How do you feel about the success of the show? What are you hoping to come to AVA next season?
Honestly, it’s really crazy to see all the success the show receives. Obviously, shooting the show, you hope and wish that it is a success and people love it, but then actually see that this is happening is honestly overwhelming – seeing all the numbers and records that it breaks. But I am extremely grateful to all the fans who watch and everyone who passes it on Hulu and supports our show.
I just can’t wait to see Ava’s growth next season and I hope to learn more about her father’s disappearance and her childhood, as before her other siblings come together, what her life is when she and Morgan was. When I invented this kind of dynamics, I think it would be really great.
Why do you think people have contacted the show?
I have the feeling that it is not like many other detective crimes shows because there is this family home life that you don’t have to see all the time. And I think every character is connected in some way that people can choose: “Oh, I treat this one. I associate with this one.” I think it’s really cool that we have such a diverse cast and cast that has its own (life and storylines).
The audience slowly reveals more about the disappearance of a novel. Will the finale give more answers about this continuing mystery and if you can’t tell us, can you annoy something else about the fans’ finale?
Yes, I don’t want to spoil too much, but I think fans will remain with some rocks on the rocks at the end of the season, which we hope will not be upset too much. But I think they will get some answers. But we have to leave you with rocks. We have to do it interesting … I really want to know what happened, so I’m excited to continue this story.
