All the best home tech gadgets we saw at CES 2025: robot maids, fog gardens and more
Much of home security technology is focused on the front door. At CES 2025, we saw home security companies making plans to combine all of this into one device. The result? Smart video locks from brands like Lockly and TCL who do a little bit of everything.
These locks monitor access to the door and allow keystrokes, fingerprints or even Apple Home Keys the best smart locks around. but, as the best video ringtonesthe locks also have high-definition cameras that can detect people, send alerts to your phone, and enable two-way communication from apps. And instead of connecting a third-party screen, they have built-in displays on the lock, so you can see who’s approaching the door without the need for a peephole or other devices.
Lockly’s Vision Prestige is particularly notable here with its touchscreen keyboard and Apple compatibility, but when it arrives later this year, you’ll need to shell out $500 for this all-in-one security tech.
