At Amazon’s Annual Event on Wednesday, the company introduced Alexa+An improved version of her voice assistant, now powered by a generative AI.

During the demonstration, Amazon demonstrates how users can share documents with Alexa+, which allows him to recall important details and answer questions about these documents.

Mara Segal, director of Alex, has given several examples of how this feature works. In one case, she asked Alex+: “From the grandmother’s zucchini bread recipe, how much oil did she need?” Alexa+ managed to get the answer from the recipe, which had previously been uploaded.

In a more complicated scenario, the user can upload a document from the Home Owners Association (HOA) and ask questions about the instructions that many people tend to neglect.

In addition, users can forward multiple emails from a children’s school to Alexa+, retrieving and summarizing the basic information. This can also help manage their calendars to ensure that they do not miss important school events.

Amazon demonstrates several Alexa+ features of the event including The opportunity to skip to different movie scenes in the paramount video And control smart home devices, allowing users to move music between speakers to different rooms.
