Adam Brodie and Leighton Meester have “de facto” separate toilets

Adam Brodie becomes honest about his life with his wife Leighton Meester.

“We have de facto separate toilets,” Brodie, 45, said Access to Hollywood on Golden Globe 2025 on Sunday, January 5. “I go to the office. it’s nice. One layer away from the kids and one deeper with privacy.”

The 38-year-old Mister was confused by her husband’s remark. “I just didn’t think about the toilet situation,” she said. “It never occurred to me.”

To Brody earned a nod for his performance, Meester weighed in on whether she thought the show would be successful prior to its release.

“I mean, I don’t know if I can say,” she said. “I feel like we watched it together before it came out and I was like, ‘This is working.’ It works. It’s so good.” And you say: “Yes, yes.” … I don’t think there’s any way to know, especially with streaming, which is impossible to tell right now. And then it came out and it was like, “Okay.”

After watching the show, Mister called A kiss wanders with a bonfire Kristen Bell “excellent”. Brody, for his part, said Mister “taught me.” He added: “She’s getting good stuff, it’s not even like A-list material.”

Brody and Meester tied the knot in February 2014 and have a 9-year-old daughter, Arlo, and a 4-year-old son, whose name has not been released. While the couple kept their romance out of the public eye, Brody shared a rare glimpse of their relationship in the month leading up to the Golden Globes.

“Despite the state of the world, I feel like I’m living my best life,” he told the British magazine Stylist in December 2024 “I have a beautiful, wasted family life. I have a good work-life balance and spend a lot of time with my children. I’m in that really wonderful period of middle age where I’m old enough to have seniority and job security, but also have enough of my body to be active and do whatever I want. I’m lucky.”
