2015 year

“When I went into Le Pain for lunch, he was standing there smiling at me. At that moment I realized that I was in deep s–t. I KNEW he was the one. I also knew I would never have tried again if he hadn’t. We spent almost 4 hours talking in the most uncomfortable chairs…and I hated for it to ever end,” she said of the date via an Instagram post five years later.
“I’ve seen him every damn day since then (except when I go on trips or the two times I left him for 2 hours…lol) Matthew courted me in the next dimension. He held my door, paid for my meals, walked on the dangerous side of the sidewalk..the list goes on. He was the first person who was brave enough to defeat me. I was FINALLY paired with a fellow alpha…and he immediately earned my respect. My knee was bent. It was a rare find, a true KING among BOYS.”
September 2018
After three years of dating, the couple got married Game of Thronesa themed wedding that took place in Glacier National Park, Montana in September 2018. There were no guests at the wedding – there was only one wedding photographer.

“5 years ago I went on my first date with @ducksauce. I spent WEEKS chatting with him, playing Hearthstone together and watching his #twitch stream. I vowed never to date ‘on-camera talent,’ but I’ve made an exception,” Curry wrote. “He was brilliant on air…his voice like molten gold…devilishly close cut hair…and those fiery brown eyes that are almost black. He also seemed like a male version of me. Every person I sent to watch him said the same thing… “That dude looks like you in a male version!”
In the post, Curry also shared an insight into what it was like to leave Hollywood and pursue a different life with her husband.
“Fast forward. We both gave up Hollywood and decided to live a simpler life, enjoying each other and our world,” she wrote. “I gave up everything I knew in my adult life… my career… and he gave up his classes… and we forged a new path with each other. We both work from home, so 5 years for us is 10 for most couples.”
Curry concluded, “My amazing husband… I want to be by your side until the end of days comes… Dagor Dagorath… “All we have to decide is what to do with the time we’ve been given…”

“On paper, our faces look like we’d burn each other alive,” she wrote on Instagram. “I think I needed someone so strong to finally go against the flow of my dominant personality. A little jolt awakened something in me that I didn’t even know existed. Femininity. This man brings it out of me in a way I never thought I could…”

In an interview with People in July 2024, Kari revealed that she was more in love with Rod than ever.
“He’s the funniest mother on the planet. He’ll make me laugh so hard my stomach is in pain and I’m sobbing with laughter,” Curry raved. “I know that when we can’t have sex anymore and we’re too old to even walk, we’ll at least sit and laugh at each other’s farts.
She added: “And it’s beautiful.”
September 2024
Taking to Instagram, Carrie celebrated her and Rod’s sixth wedding anniversary with a touching post.
“6 years ago… I married the man I ran away from Los Angeles with to start our biggest adventure ever,” she wrote via Instagram “My big bucks in the woods. <3.”

Two days prior, Curry posted a series of photos of the couple celebrating the holidays on Instagram to capture Rod.
