A former waiter is arrested for giving drugs before his death

Details of the arrest of Brian Pays in connection with the death of Liam Payne

CBS News reports that Argentine police arrested Brian Pais on Friday, January 3rd. Diversity.

TMZ claims that authorities arrested Brian Pais outside his home in Buenos Aires, where he was under house arrest, just days after he was charged in Payne’s death. The publication adds that Paiz admitted to using drugs with Payne. He said they had partied twice in Payne’s suite at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in the days before the One Direction singer’s death. Pace claimed they used cocaine and whiskey together, but denied selling drugs to Payne. Pais also reportedly faces four to fifteen years in prison. He reportedly told TMZ “he feels unfairly treated by the killer and believes he is being used as a scapegoat.”

Paiz worked at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, where Liam Payne died back in October. Four other defendants, including three hotel employees and a friend of Payne’s, were recently charged in connection with the musician’s death.

As TSR previously shared, TMZ On Nov. 7, authorities initially charged two hotel employees and a friend of Payne’s in connection with his death.

Liam’s friend is reportedly facing charges of “abandoning a person before death.” In addition, the reports claimed that the drugs were delivered to the English songwriter by a housekeeper and a third suspect acted as an “alleged drug supplier”.
