Sharing my thoughts on Dr. Stephen Cabal 7 -Day DetoxAnd sharing recipes I liked when I was on this functional detoxification of medicine.
Hi friends! How are you? I hope you have a beautiful day so far. Today I share this post because we are heading for spring, which is the right time for detox. Hundreds of you have made this functional medicine detox with me and experienced amazing results. To this end, we join the giant IHP community with our group of detoxification; Over 50,000 people joined the last time !! You can order Your detoxifying set here (If this is the first time, use the FITNESSA10 code) and then join our private (new) Facebook group here.
Here is a recapitulation of one of my experience with this detoxification!
In this post, I also wanted to share some of the recipes and meals I enjoyed for my friends who are considering this functional medicine detox at my own time. It may be useful to have food ideas for 3-7 days. This post is beef because there is so much I wanted to include. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and I would like to talk to you and share my experience.
Here we go!
Dr. Cabral 7 -day reviews of detoxification + recipes
What is a detox and how does it work?
-It’s liver -based detox If you want to help reset your body, give a break from digesting heavy foods and potentially help your body eliminate toxins that accumulate from our environment. It includes components of functional medicine and ayurvedic herbs to support liver detoxification phases 1 and 2. It can help with a number of symptoms and help restore specific shortcomings of nutrients and mineral levels while removing toxicity from the body.
-It is focused on nutrition. This includes Powerhouse Daily Nutritional Powder Support (which I had in my smoothies in the last few months and noticed the difference in how I feel when I drink this smoothie) and instructions to eat for the remaining food. The aim is for your body to run out of nutrients during the process.
– This powerful system can potentially help in weight loss (Although it is not a focus for me), along with Anti-aging and Total Body Wellness.
– It’s just 7 days! When I first started working with Naturopath (back in the old days! It was like 2010), I had a monthly detox that was similar in format (but did not include Ayurvedic accessories). It is much easier to do for 7 days and I feel that my results were even better of another nutritional support. (The first two days are only accessories, fruits and smoothies and on 3 day you add meals with thick nutrients using the instructions/template of food.)
Each set of detoxification contains the following:
Daily Nutritional Support:
This disposable trade for vitamins, minerals, proteins, electrolytes and antioxidants is the heart and soul of dr.Cabral detox. With 15 grams of vegan protein, daily nutritional support provides your body with much needed energy and nutrition, while your body is starting to get rid of toxins. This complete nutritional support is something I have daily throughout the year.
Detox FM:
Using the latest research in functional medicine, detox FM compounds are necessary to support both phases of liver detoxification. Essential amino acids, antioxidants and botanical extracts, such as the Marian thunderstorm, help the body capture and move toxins to the liver, where they can be metabolized and removed during the second phase. Components such as dandelion root extract support bile production that helps in elimination. As a diuretic root of dandelion, it increases the water supplied to the liver, which facilitates the elimination of toxin in the urine.
AYU Detox:
Incorporating ancient Ayurvedic medicinal traditions that promote optimal detoxification, AM detox helps to start the detoxification process. Different diuretics move water to the liver and increase the solubility of toxins. Triphala, a combination of three plants: Emblica officinalis, Terminalia Bellerica and Terminalia Chebula, were studied for their role in gastrointestinal health. In conjunction, it is proposed that this powerful trio supports the growth of beneficial intestinal microbes of bifidobacteria and lactobacillus while inhibiting growth of undesirable trunks.

My experience of the day:
1st day:
1. The day was just shivers and accessories, and I expected to feel felt and tired. I felt amazing. I had a lot of energy and felt clear and focused. So I took this day completely from the gym and I spent more time meditation and reading in the evening.
Day 2:
I expected the hunger kicking and in the afternoon it hit quite hard. I ate a bowl of raspberries and blueberries and felt much better. And I figured if I needed to skip forward to day 3 at any time during detoxification, I could do it. But I didn’t feel like I needed it. I felt tired today and I took Maisey only for our usual walk for activity.
Day 3:
The first day of adding whole food and food in my life never tasted so amazing. Therefore, I like to do occasional resetting; It brings me back to my tastings and food I really enjoy. I made Channa Masala, which I knew would be tasty, but it burst with spices and citrus. It was incredible. In the afternoon I felt my energy rising, so I performed a quick training of the Socus Society (no cardio, just light and body weight).
Day 4:
I feel like I came across food planning and I felt I was looking forward to the shivers and every meal. That was the next day from the gym and I just went Maisey. Lunch was an amazing Mediterranean chocolate food for lunch (recipe below) and we had the best shells and asparagus for dinner. (Got the shells from Butcherbox And the girls went crazy for them.)
Days 5-7:
I started to go back to a more common training routine, but I adjusted it a little because I felt weak. One day I made a class F45, a hot yoga day the following day and took Sunday as a rest.
Something I have noticed during this detoxification detoxification:
– My OURA score was the best ever. I had a triple Crown for several days (usually when I get 3 for a week, I’m drawn) in a row !! I slept so well and I had live dreams every night.
(5 days of triple crowns in one week!)
My last thoughts/results:
Physically, I feel that inflammation is down in my face, and I wish I took photography. My wedding ring usually seems comfortable to me and is now free. I feel mentally even more under tension, more focused and clearer. I feel like I’m back in touch with how I like to eat, which makes me feel and do the best. Pre-Detox, it was very normal for me to walk around the pantry and always grab a cookie from a bowl of biscuits. Sugar and gifts began to become habits, rather than something I really liked.
Fruits and vegetables began to taste bland and I found that I was longing for more and more sugar. This helped me remember what it is good to focus on fresh, whole, food and how they taste quite well. I will absolutely do it again and next time I could go to the 14 -day plan. Many girls in our group continue the program because they feel so amazing. And I love to achieve the same results as about 21 -day plans in 14 days or less.
We are exposed to toxins, pesticides and harmful chemicals in our modern world and I love this tool to implement quarterly.
Dr. Cabal detox side effects
During the days of 1-2 detoxification plan, you can experience some of the following side effects. Side effects may include nervousness (or “brain fog”), headaches, flatulence, low mood, brain fog and convulsions. If you feel any of these symptoms, don’t worry! It is a normal part of the detoxification process and once your body gets used to cleaning. Another side effect that many people notice is a strong weight loss; It is wild how much inflammation can affect fat storage and water retention.
Here’s a short video that I made with my experience:
7 -day detoxifying recipes
Detox recipes for lunch
Channa Masala
Creates about 5 large portions (store residues for upcoming lunches or freezing)
Composition:
1 onion, chopped
3 clove of garlic, ground
1 teaspoon of fresh ground ginger
15 oz tomato sauces
8 oz water
1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon of garam masala
2 chickpea cans, exhausted
1/2 spinach of bags
Coriander and lemon for administration
In a large pot, rest onion, ginger and garlic in a little avocado oil until it is fragrant. Season with salt and pepper and add all the spices. Sleep with the spices and then stir the tomato sauce, water and chickpeas. Cook for 15 minutes with occasional mixing. Taste with salt and pepper. For a moment or two, rush in the spinach and then serve with the chopped coriander at the top and press the lemon juice. I liked it on rice cauliflower and it was incredible! The remnants were even better.
Mediter
Creates 4 portions (store residues for upcoming lunches or freezing)
1/2 sweet onion, chopped
3 clove of garlic, ground
1/2 cup of sun -dried tomatoes rehydrated in water (I like to do it because they are much softer)
16 oz cooked black lens
8 oz articia’s hearts
1 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 of a bag of spinach
Bandage:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 lemon juice
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon of each of the thymes and basil
In a large pot, rest onion and garlic in a little avocado oil until it is fragrant. Add lentils, artichokes, tomatoes dried with sun, oregano and season well with salt and pepper. Warm when you bandage. Whisk all dressing ingredients together and pour to the top. Serve with extra lemon juice.
Hummus and vegetarian wraps
– I made hummus with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and then served it on Roman ships with avocado, pepper and carrots
Detoxifying ideas for dinner
Hot bar! One night p was late to football and I had no time (or energy) to make something. We went to the hot bar and grabbed Paleo chicken, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and hill of hummus. It was perfect.
Shells and asparagus (I also made risotto for FAM): just cut them off salt and pepper and served with baked asparagus (garlic powder, avocado oil and salt and pepper)
Blackened In the air of the fryer
Makes 4 portions
Here’s a recipe for salmon:
1/4 teaspoon Each: cumin, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, chili lime spices from merchant Joe’s (I added 2 tablespoons brown sugar to Fam’s)
Create blackened spices by mixing the above ingredients in a small bowl
Salmon is well cleaned with salt and pepper and pre -play air deep fryer at 400 degrees. Fully paint salmon with spices and spray the basket of air deep fryer with avocado oil. Add salmon and cook for 7-10 minutes until they boil. Serve with any parties you like! We had it with baked sweet potatoes and salad with lemon and olive oil
Turkey Hamburgers with avocado and vegetarian salad: The pilot made turkey hamburgers and FAM had fries and salad on the mushrooms and I ate on the chopped vegetable salad with avocado
