Why make this cooling new horror movie were so horrible for Matthew’s trait

On Friday night, the premiere of the director of the “Holy Road” was prime minister at the SXSW festival. A dense 80-minute movie is an acting excursion force both with Razamund Pike and Matthew, both the parents of the medical and Frank, who receive a phone call from their restless daughter (Megan McDonel). She was in a car accident. She got on a pedestrian on an isolated road, which is at least forty minutes away, so the medical and frank are hurried in the car (in the middle of the night) to come and try to talk to her through the situation.

Almost the whole movie takes place in this car. We only hear the voice of their daughter on the phone, and the audience is forced to imagine her situation as she explains. This approach had a clear financial benefit – the shooting took only about 17 days like Avari mentioned in questions and questions after – But the choice is also clearly made for the best movie. Staying in the car helped the audience to feel as closed as the heroes, as desperate, as finally getting to the daughter. This allowed the film to remain focused on its largest power: medical and frank are two very complex, stressful people who are skillfully displayed by hand and rice.

For Rhys, which joined Anvari at the SXSW premiere, to then answer the audience’s questions, was initially a terrible “Hallow Road” approach. “I think I was more concerned that it would definitely not hide,” the actor explained. “You’re laid naked. These are only two people talking.”

Director Anvars added: “I think at the beginning when I talked (rhys), I liked:” Well, the whole movie will be close to. ”

Anvars themselves shared some of the trait problems. Speaking of the night before the first big day shoot, he confessed: “I am also myself.”

In one location place in one place Hallow Road were

Rice joked that he had some interesting advantages for his hero that driving the car throughout the movie: “It was great to sit on the whole movie,” he said. “And it was very comfortable. And I knew I would do my hands all the time, that’s good. I wasn’t accused of what I Joe Cocker as I was in the past.”

The most interesting for Rhys was the production approach to the picture. He and Anvars explained how he and Pike performed most of the car scene in one long gaze. They have been doing so long, playing several times, and ready -made movies combine clips from everyone. “We knew the whole scenario,” the rice explained. “Yes, yes, just treated it as the theater. If something went wrong, you weren’t going to stop. There was no sharp. You had to find a way back or around, but yes, it was just death or glory.”

Comparison of theater makes sense. As in the game, the quality and intensity of the dialogue here is the strongest asset of the film. It reminded me a lot about “Was” and The thriller that premiere took place at Tribeca last year. This is another movie that has managed to stay riveting, despite the fact that it was put in one small place and only rotated around the two characters. The difference is that “APA” was an adaptation of the performance, whereas “Hallow Road” is a pure original. This is the debut script of the writer William Jill, the one whose work we will definitely see the screen adapted soon.

“Hallow Road” is an exciting, claustrophob thriller and one with a really fun mid -point tone. This is easily one of the best, most amazing films before the SXSW Festival 2025. It is unclear when it comes out in cinemas or broadcasting later this year, but definitely keep an eye on it.
