1923 Season 2 episode 1 channels one of the most controversial moments of Elaston
This article contains spoilers For “1923” 2 season.
“1923” is not a simple show for viewing, especially when it comes to the persecution faced by its characters of the Indians in the hands of the authorities and the church. Season 1 focused on the horrible abuse of Indians in boarding schoolsAs a result, two sadistic nuns were killed and a nuclear nuns and going into the run. Already 2 season, which is now being pursued by the authorities headed by the relentless Marshal Kent (Jamie Mack -Shein) and his deputies.
The first episode of the second season of the “Murders season” sees Kent Ventur to the territory of the Commathed and requires the location of rain water. It is desperate to get the answers from the tribe (which do not imagine who there is rainwater, not to mention where it is hiding), he grabs a little girl and shows a gun in his head. Kent also seems to be more than glad to shed the baby’s blood if that means performing the task that is not surprising if earlier, that he killed the innocent.
While the corrupt legislator does not press the trigger (he allows the child to be released after Father Renauld, who played Sebastian Rosh, protesting), this is another example of a greater “franching” franchise that presses the boundaries of good taste. Really, the scene in question is reminiscent of one of the The most amazing moments on Yelaston, And this necessarily has the same restless effect on the audience.
Marshal Kent pulls Kiece Datton in 1923
Many believe in this Taylor Sheridan spoiled “Yelaston” 5 seasonEspecially after leaving Kevin Kostner and a dirty story that came with him. Season 5 certainly has its shortcomings, but it still contains scenes suffering from a shocking stroke, first of all, when Kiece Datton (Luke Grims) lifts the baby under shot and threatens to press the trigger in front of the child’s father. What to say, he gets a point of view and then some.
The scene illustrates that Case is ready to destroy whole families to protect his own relatives, and to be fair to him, Khtman, which he threatens, is of great responsibility for the murder of his father. In view of this, an indication of an innocent child is probably extreme, especially after His own son Caces, Tate Datton (Breken Mary), almost died and continued to injure. In this world, however, it is a tooth for a tooth and an eye for the eye. Hope parents are little and far between the “Yelaston” universe.
Of course, the actions of the case were calculated and Marshal Kent was more chaotic. Their reasons for the guidance of pistols on children are also wild, but they are similar, in that they characterize the commitment of this franchise for the shock value. However, only time will tell whether the threats to Kent in relation to young heroes as polarizing as the feats of Case in the “Yelaston” season 5.
