James Kennedy and Eli Luber withdrew after his arrest

James Kennedy seems to feel a certain distance from his girlfriend Eli Luber after him arrest for domestic violence.

Luber’s parents “came into town and they bought an Airbnb and took her there,” a source close to the situation said. Us Weekly, adding that the couple had “some distance, but it’s not over.”

The insider explained that Luber’s parents plan to bring her back to her hometown in Ohio, “where she always planned to spend the holidays.”

“James has their dog now,” the source continued. “He played a (DJ) gig this weekend and has no plans to change anything about his schedule of concerts.” Kennedy also plans to move forward with future shows Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio beginning of February 2025

us has reached out to representatives for Kennedy, 32, and Luber, 28, for comment. Photo received TMZ said Kennedy, who was moving Leuber’s personal belongings into her car over the weekend.

Kennedy’s relationship with Leuber was put under the microscope earlier this month after he was arrested for gross domestic violence. (He was later released on $20,000 bail.)

According to police reports obtained by PeopleOn Dec. 10, a woman reportedly reported to the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend picked her up and threw her to the ground.”

The arresting officer was initially called to the scene for an “unknown issue.” It is not clear whether Luber made the statement.

“We are conducting our own investigation into the allegations made by the Burbank Police Department against James,” Kennedy’s attorneys previously the statement said to us. “It is our understanding that there were no injuries, and we hope that after a careful review, the city attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

As for Luber, she has kept a low profile since the arrest was made public. However, the astrologer thanked the fans in his social media post.

“Thank you to everyone who reached out with love and support and for checking up on me,” Luber wrote via her Instagram Story on Saturday, December 14. “I’m fine and finding the time I need. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy at this time.”

Kennedy and Luber were together from the beginning of 2022. Their relationship will continue Vanderpump Rules for seasons 10 and 11.
