Gypsy Rose Blanchard claims murderous fantasies were ‘exciting’
Dee Dee was found dead in June 2015 at the age of 48 after multiple stab wounds in the home she shared with Gypsy in Mississippi. Gypsy later pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Godejohn, now 35, was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard, now 33, opened up about meeting Nicholas Goddejon on a Christian dating website in 2012, a connection that quickly turned into an open relationship.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard claims that Nick Godejohn had strange fantasies

“Nick exposed me to many sexually perverted things and ideas, but 10 years later, knowing now what I know about sex, he taught me all the wrong things,” she wrote in her memoir. “From what I’ve read, he didn’t have a clear idea of BDSM (bondage, discipline, submission and masochism) and was making it up as we went along.”
The ex-convict then stated: “The more he praised me for ‘good work’ after sucking on the dildo he had ordered from Japan, the more I believed he loved me. Of course, if I did the video ‘wrong’, like forgetting to call him ‘master’ or not being a dirty enough girl, he threatened to rip that love out.’

Nicholas Goddejon supposedly had elaborate fantasy worlds

Nicholas Goddejon described the complex fantasy world of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, claiming that he “lived among 12 alien soulmates of different species”.
This imaginary universe also featured a villain named Victor, a 3,000-year-old vampire with a lust for “rape and murder.” Gypsy claimed that Godejohn was interested in necrophilia and even shared a disturbing fantasy of murdering and then raping his ex-girlfriend.
She also alleged that Goddejon made strange demands, such as asking her to smear peanut butter or barbecue sauce on her breasts and to act out “unusual sexual behavior using phallic objects.”

The gypsy wanted to “get rid” of her mother

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Nicholas Goodejohn initially maintained a long-distance relationship, but after meeting in person, they began discussing the possibility of Gypsy moving to Wisconsin to live with him. It was around this time the idea of killing Dee Dee began to surface in their conversations.
“We felt like our relationship was on the brink of collapse,” Gypsy recalls. “We believed that we had tried everything to be together, and now it has come to extreme measures.”

But she clarified: “It wasn’t one discussion like, ‘Okay, how do we get rid of your mom?’ These were gradual conversations that fit into the complex fantasy world that Nick had created. He shared with me that he was sexually aroused when he fantasized about murdering and then raping an ex-girlfriend, but our plot was more like a soap opera.’

Gypsy and Nick conspire to kill Dee Dee

Gypsy said in her memoirs: “And then I made the suggestion (of murder), to which Nick said, ‘Victor can do it. But you have to be the one to beg him,” referring to the 3,000-year-old vampiric villain from the whimsical fantasy world of Godejon.
They eventually agreed to a “contract” in which Goddejon, acting as his alter ego Victor, would kill Dee Dee and then rape Gypsy.
“What was on Nick’s mind? I don’t know for sure, but it felt like I was being used to help him live out this fantasy, like he was playing with characters he created in his mind or in a video game,” Gypsy wrote. “And some of them were evil killers, and maybe it would be fun for him to play with the dark side of life. Did we use each other?’
Gypsy Rose Blanchard pleaded guilty

Gypsy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Nicholas Goodejohn was found guilty of first-degree murder and received a life sentence.
During the trial, Gypsy’s case attracted considerable public attention and sympathy when the details of her abuse came to light.
“My Times To Stand” is out now.
