A video of a passenger traveling in an air conditioner has gone viral on social media.The footage captured inside the train shows the passenger, wearing a turban and hat, showing arrogance towards the ticket inspector , that his nephew is a Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and insists on going to Buxar.

The passenger is heard saying, “My nephew is DRM, I have to go to Buxar.” The video quickly went viral on social media, with many questioning the identity of the passenger’s nephew and which department he served as DRM. There are also concerns about whether this DRM allowed the passenger to travel without a ticket.

The date, time and place of the incident remain unknown. The video has raised concerns about the safety and security of passengers, an issue rail authorities have consistently stressed, but this incident seems to contradict their stance.

RPF post commander Suman Kumari from Arai confirmed the awareness of the viral video and said that he has received information about the incident.

It is important to note that traveling in an AC coach without a valid ticket can result in imprisonment of up to one year. Passengers who obstruct government work, travel in an AC coach without a ticket or threaten an official on duty can face a minimum of 15 days. Imprisonment without bail.
