Appearing on The Howard Stern Show after her well-received performance at the Golden Globes, Glazer shared one of the jokes that ended up being cut from her opening monologue.
“(I almost said), like, ‘Shall I fry or toast?’ You know what? I don’t fry. I’ll be toasting,’” Glaser recalled. “And I was just making all these toasts that were fried. Like, “Here’s to Ben Affleck, I can’t wait to see which Jennifer you try to screw up next.”
The comedian admitted to debating the impact of the joke, explaining: “And I argued, ‘Oh, I didn’t say spoil them. I said he was trying to ruin them, so it’s not against them.’ But I thought, “That would be crazy.”
