Taiwan stocks higher at close of trade; Taiwan Weighted up 0.33% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains and shares led shares higher.

At the close in Taiwan, the gain was 0.33%.

The best performers of the session were on the topic Global brands Manufacture Ltd (TW: ), which rose 9.97% or 6.30 points to trade at 69.50 at the close, while Universal Inc (TW: ) added 9.90% or 2 .85 points to end at 31.65 and Spirox Corp ( TW: ) was up 9.89% or 6.20 points to 68.90 in late trade.

They were the worst performers of the session Chroma ATE Inc (TW:) declined 9.94% or 39.00 points to trade at 353.50 at the close.Goldsun Building Materials Co Ltd (TW:) declined 9.90% or 5 , by 20 points to 47.30 and Asia Optical Co Inc (TW:) declined 5.90% or 10.50 points to 167.50.

Declining stocks outpaced advancers 0-0 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

February crude futures were down 0.34%, or 0.25, at $73.71 a barrel.In other commodities, Brent crude futures were down 0.37%, or 0.28. to $76.23 a barrel, while February gold futures were down 0.36% or 9.54 to $2,645.16 per troy ounce.

USD/TWD rose 0.02% to 32.94, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.09% to 0.22.

US dollar index futures fell 0.03% to 108.76.
