General Hospital’s Steve Burton is engaged to Michelle Lundstrom

“Engaged 1/3/25. ❤️💍♾️,” Burton, 54, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 4, along with a slideshow of the couple’s sweet photos from their engagement session. One shot captured the moment Burton got down on one knee and popped the question.
Burton’s caption continued: “Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Well-wishers flooded the comments section to congratulate the happy couple, including Burton General hospital castors.
“Steve and Michelle, I wish you both a long, loving and fruitful life together! Congratulations!” wrote Costar Rick Hurstwhile a member of the cast Finola Hughes exclaimed: “Congratulations! I wish you both the best of luck in the future, you are a wonderful couple! Congratulations, Michelle!”
Burton was previously married Gray Gustin from 1999 to 2022, with whom he has three children: daughters Makenna and Brooklyn and son Jack.
Burton’s last marriage hit the headlines in May 2022 when it was revealed that he and Gustin, 46, had split after 23 years of marriage and she was expecting a child with another man. (The couple legally separated in March of that year.)
“I wanted to find out something. Sherry and I split up. She recently announced that she is expecting her fourth child. The child is not mine,” he said General hospital star wrote online at the time. “We are still raising our three wonderful children together. We would appreciate your privacy during this time. Much love, Steve.
In February 2023, Gustin gave birth to her fourth child, daughter Isabella, and the identity of the father remained a secret. (She gave birth to child #5, Addie’s daughterin February 2024)
As for Burton, the soap opera star confirmed his and Lundstrom’s relationship to Daily drama in May 2024, but it wasn’t until the following months that the couple did their thing red carpet debut at the Daytime Emmy Awards last June.
“Our first joint red carpet. It was a nightmare from start to finish,” Lundstrom wrote on Instagram in June as she snuggled up for a night with her partner. “Thank you for all the beautiful, kind comments and messages. I am sincerely grateful ❤️🙏🏼”.
Burton at the time General hospital Castor Kirsten Storms wrote in the comments: “You are so cute together, this photo is hard to look at. 🥰 ❤️.”
