“I’m starting to realize that I’m 51 and I need to stay in my own lane and know that I don’t have to try to outdo everybody or outwork everybody,” he told the publication. “I just have to push myself a little bit more and keep just trying to drag this beautiful life out as long as I can.”

“I target muscle groups. I don’t need to lift as heavy, but I need to have better form, hold longer and squeeze longer,” he added. “I wish I had listened to the people who were trying to tell me these things and give me this advice 20 years ago.”
