Reddit briefly for users around the world
The popular social network and forum Reddit forum reported significant interruptions on Monday morning.
Connection errors started around 11:20 ET, according to the DownDetector website, which collects anecdotal reports from affected users worldwide. In their peak, more than 90,000 users have registered a discontinuation report on a stay tracking website.

When he reached a comment, a Reddit spokesman said: “We briefly failed to contact one of our databases, which caused the interruption. The repair was quickly unfolded and we are now getting up and working.”
Reddit announced the release of “elevated errors” three times in February, as well as a few weeks ago, according to its status page.
