Subaru Boosts 2026 Range Solterra EV, debuts more Trailseeker Electric SUV
The outdoor carmaker arrived at the New York Motor Show in 2025. This week with two A new electric SUV Debuts. The updated Single EV He sees the productivity and improving the range, which make it a more attractive option, and visual touch, which make it less visually attractive. It is joined by the new Trailseeker, a larger, higher electric SUV that boasts more interior space for loads, whether for Costco Run or on the weekend.
What new, Subaru?
The updated Solterra is said to be proud of more than 25% more than last year, thanks to a small battery capacity, up to 74.7 kilowatt hours (+1.9 kWh) and improvements to power management systems. The electric crossover is now traveling for about 285 miles per charge, according to Subaru estimates. This will not yet win him any “most long” awards, but any improvement in the range is a welcome superstructure.
The improved logic of the battery conditioning allowed Subaru to hit the rapid charging speed of the DC of EV up to 150 kW, so at least the charging stops will be a touch faster. Solterra can now zipper from 10% to 80% for a fee for just under 35 minutes. The 2026 also comes standard with a port of charge in North America, which allows local access to the Tesla Supercharger network from fast loading stations.
Upgrading to the standard dual engine with motor engines also give performance improvements, with the standard configuration climbing up to 233 combination horsepower. At the top of the composition, performance-oriented Solterra XT Spec steps to 338 combined horsepower, allowing sprint to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Under the hood, the power of power management and adhesion systems further improves performance, while the updates to the suspension and steering wheel promise improved work and control.
Outside, EV has innumerable design tweaks, including a newly lit Subaru logo and converted headlights. Depending on the color of the paint chosen, Solterra will also come with fenders colored in the body. The idea is that this will give EV a more city feeling than the rough, matte fenders, but I think it leaves the electric SUV to look extremely common.
Inside the SUV, it acquires a larger 14-inch sensor system for infotainment with standard Android Auto and Apple Carplay, new double 15-watt wireless phone charges and USB-C high-power charging ports for the second row.
2026 Subaru Trailseeker EV
Along with the updated Solterra, Subaru also deployed the new 2026 Subaru Trailseeker, which is a terrible name but I guess Pathfinder and Trailblazer They have already been taken. Trailseeker is essentially a larger version of Solterra EV, being proud of the same standard all-wheel drive system with dual-wheel bicycle, the same 8.3-inch leader on the ground and getting all the same drive and battery improvements as his younger brother.
This means the same 74.7 kWh battery and the same enhanced charging speed by 150 kW through its NACS port. However, the Trailseeker range drops only 260 miles between fees, probably thanks to the increased weight of the greater EV and an increase to 375 combined horsepower for its dual motor system. The extra Oomph helps Trailseeker to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and supplies it to 3500-pound tow capacity.
Meanwhile, the additional footprint and the higher line of the roof provide Trailseeker to more space for people and loads, although Subaru has not yet announced specific numbers of internal volume. And to help power accessories, camping equipment and other electronics along the path, EV also has a 120-volt exit in the rear area for the power of the vehicle for charging.
Arrival next year
Subaru Solterra is expected in 2026 to arrive in the United States in late 2025. Shortly thereafter, Trailseeker 2026 will find a way to dealers in early 2026. Pricing and specifications should start to tingle over the next few months.
