Apple iPad (A16, 2025) Review: brilliantly basic

My best friend I recently called my 13-inch iPad air “Giant-Ass iPad”. All my friends know how much I rely on Apple’s shale and that’s because my only hobby outside of reading is to watch everything and everything. (Someone put me in Summer house.) But I also review an iPad for my work and have The whole range of choiceS As tempting as the big screen may be, if I had to go out and buy my own right now, I would get Apple’s main iPad.

Apple refreshes your tablet for the initial level in March and is almost identical to the 2022 model that precedes it. This is largely upgrading the processor with A16 Bionic, the same chip inside iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15and you finally get 128 GB of storage instead of 64. It’s so basic update that it doesn’t even have Apple Intelligence– You know, something Apple will not stop talking to every new product launch and update the software. Some can even enjoy it without including AI in any product.

The point is that, as basic, Apple’s regular iPad is all you need. (If you do actually Need a new tablet.) Whether it is used to transmit all reality TV, to make notes in class or to make up emails, this machine can do almost anything and remains the best iPad.

The same old, the same old

Apple moves away from the use of generations to distinguish its tablets. Technically, this iPad is the 11th generation model, but Apple officially calls it an iPad (A16), named after the processor inside. It seems that the old man, though I would appreciate even more color options. Apple sent me the yellow that cheered me when I look at it, but a few extra shades couldn’t hurt.

The LCD screen is already 11 inches, which is a reduced increase in the size of 0.1 inches from the previous model. By taking advantage, you still get a USB-C port, a 12-megapixel landscape camera and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor baked in the edge power button. Frames are clumsy, signature of All “cheap” tablets and screensS The smaller size is noticed by the 13-inch iPad Air, but it is convenient to do a job (even with several applications and open Windows) and I had no problem watching angry watching. ( it easier to wear, though not as portable as iPad mini.)
