30-Year Treasury Yields Breaks Past 4.94%
On Tuesday, long-term bonds were sold as fears about economic growth, putting pressure on safer investments.
The 30-year yield was briefly touched by 4.942%. If it is closed at that level, it is highest since January 14, when the yield is closed by 4.983%.
Higher yields are created for investors to walk and buy, but harvesting weapons are aimed at bond prices, it means lower prices for government bonds held by investors.
