21 workers resign from Dodge while Elon Musk destroys the US government

Twenty -one workers in the Elon Musk Dog, the so -called Ministry of Efficiency of the Government, resigned on Tuesday because of the continued destruction of the US government. All workers were originally part of the US Digital Service (USD) until a month ago, when the government agency was abducted and rebranded as Donald Trump.

“We will not use our skills as technologists to compromise basic government systems, endanger the sensitive data of Americans, or dismantle critical public services,” writes the group in a letter seen by APS “We will not give our experience to do or legimize Doge’s actions.”

The US digital service was founded during Barack Obama’s presidency to work on vital government programs by technology. But Musk essentially created a Frankenstein agency by giving USDS a new face and bringing a bunch of teenagers and the 20s to delve through the government’s machines without any care of confidentiality or national security.

Dog has taken a federal government cutter at the request of Musk, a billionaire who runs the pseudo-agency, despite the fact that courts by the US Department of Justice insist that he is not actually the group administrator. It was yesterday that a federal judge again asked a government lawyer who was managing Dodge, but the lawyer insisted that they did not know.

Dog unilaterally cancels countless contracts in the government, while Musk twists hundreds of times a day about how it roots in waste, fraud and abuses. In fact, Musk has never presented evidence of waste, fraud and abuse, instead emphasizes programs that it simply does not like and cut them without the right authority to do it. And the billionaire continues to make his way through the government to get into and burn in a process that has touched every agency from the Ministry of Interior Security to the National Park Service.

About 40 people were fired from Doca/USDS shortly after Trump took power, including a politically active worker named Jonathan Kamens, who believes he was fired to approve Kamala Harris for president in 2024 and criticized Musk’s approach with colleagues S

Ironically, AP notes that many people who worked in the digital service were very critical of the way the government works and are doing their best to reform the system. But even people who wanted major changes to the technological systems in the US government believe that Musk was reckless.

The AP spoke with Cordel Shahter, who worked as a CIO at the US Department of Transport a month ago when she was put in the villain group.

“Move quickly and break things up” can be acceptable to someone who owns a business and has the risk. And if things don’t go well, the damage is separated. But when you break things in the government, you violate things that belong to people who have not registered for it, “Shakhter said.
