Brown is the normal color of stool, with slight variations in shade. However, the color of your stool can vary depending on your diet and the medications you are taking.

White or pale

Your stools should not be chalky or white. Sometimes this happens as a side effect of the medications you are taking. However, it can mean more serious health problems.
