Super Evil Megacorp appoints Ian Fielding as new CEO
Super Evil Megacorp announced today that it has appointed studio head Ian Fielding as its new CEO, succeeding Christian Segerstrale. Fielding, according to Super Evil, has been managing the company’s products as part of its long-term strategy and now takes up the new position after a record year of growth. Segerstrale will move into the role of executive chairman.
Fielding said in a statement: “It has been an honor to work closely with such a talented leader as Christian Segerstrale and I look forward to working with him in his new role. I’m excited for the future of Super Evil as we begin to realize the long-term plans we have in motion to grow SEMC into a premier independent studio with world-class talent creating unforgettable shared gaming experiences.”

Fielding previously worked at Riot Games, where he worked on League of Legends and Valorant, as well as Insomniac. While working at Super Evil Megacorp, he was the executive producer of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, which saw successful launches on Switch and PC in 2024. The studio also has several games in the pipeline, including Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game in collaboration with Netflix.
Segerstrale added in the statement, “I’m very proud of what we’ve built as a long-lasting independent games company. Our success in recent years is largely due to Ian’s able management. We see a huge opportunity ahead and I believe Super Evil is poised to succeed with Ian as CEO, as a business leader leading our incredibly dedicated team.”
