Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcome daughter Golden

NFL star Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, gave birth to their third child.

The couple announced their new addition to the family via a social media post on Monday, with many fans congratulating them on the new arrival.

Brittany and Patrick got married in March 2022 and already have two children together: daughter Sterling and son Bronze, born in February 2021 and November 2022, respectively.

They shared a photo of their hands cradling their newborn daughter’s legs along with the caption to read“Golden Ray Mahomes. 01/12/2025.”

Many fans of the couple took turns congratulating them in the comments of the post.

One person gushed over their baby’s name, writing: “Love the name! Congratulations.”

The second person added, “You’re welcome Miss Goldie.”

They shared an adorable video for Bruno Mars’ “Counting On You” that showcased Brittany’s ultrasound.

The adorable couple were joined by their children, Sterling and Bronze, who looked delighted as they helped their parents make the announcement.

The caption of the post read: “Round three, here we go.”

However, they did not reveal the gender of their baby in the post.

The couple put their fans to rest a few days later when they shared a gender reveal video that also featured their son and daughter.

In the cute video, Sterling played tic-tac-toe while flipping tiles to find out the gender of her unborn brother. The X tiles were pink to represent a girl and the O tiles were blue.

After several flips, Sterling finally lined up three pink X tiles in a row, revealing that she was having a baby sister.

After the gender reveal, Brittany and Patrick squealed with joy as sprays of pink powder rose into the air, adding to the colorful scene.

The arrival of baby number three will be very exciting for Brittany, who has previously spoken about how much she loves being a mother and cherishes spending time with her children and watching them grow.

In March 2024, an interview with SheKnowsshe revealed that her love for motherhood began in childhood.

Brittany shared, “I think I’ve been called to be a mom since I was a little girl. I just see my kids growing up and the things they’re learning and the things they’re taking from their father.”

She added: “When we have our first experience with them, taking them somewhere, seeing them happy, lit up and in a good mood when we’re doing something, that’s probably the biggest thing I enjoy.”

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes met when they were in high school together in Texas and have been dating ever since.

They faced difficulties when they went to different colleges after high school, but stayed together despite the distance between them.

Patrick said: “I don’t think people even realize how much she does. I mean, take care of the day-to-day stuff and make it so that I can focus on football, focus on my skill and everything like that.”

He added: “She’s a Hall of Fame mum and a Hall of Fame wife, which makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, you kind of want to be around all the time, and she pushes me to be great, and she’s done a lot of great things herself.”
